SHINE researchers, Dejana Pavlovic, PhD and Mihajlo Djukic, PhD, participated at the 16th Conference of the European Sociological Association – ESA 2024 held in Porto (27th – 30th August). Conference gathered around 4,000 researchers in the field of social sciences from all over the world. The central topic of the conference was “Tension, Trust and Transformation”.

SHINE team members presented research realized within the scientific project SHINE – “Engagement in Academic Achievements and Extracurricular Activities as Predictors of Life Satisfaction among High-school and University Students”, funded by the Scientific Fund of the Republic of Serbia. Dejana Pavlović presented research on job satisfaction – “A Mansa scale study of job satisfaction, social relations and economics in the lives of  young adults”, while Mihajlo Đukić held presentation on the relations between consumption of harmful products and life satisfaction entitled “The relationship between tobacco use and life satisfaction among Serbian students”.
